NAB 2014 - PREVIZION

PREVIZION

This is a technology which allows you to shoot a matte shot of a live object or person and insert it into a pre-made CG 3D enviroment. The camera is free to move around and has a sensor on the top which shoots at postition targets to feed the software with position.

It is pretty cool, they were shooting me and sticking me in a Mini Cooper and I was a real-time layer. I was in the driver seat and then they could put me into the back seat from the steering wheel (that isn’t me).

I embeded a FXPhd video from Mike Seymour (whom I respect) with the founder of the system showing the nuts and bolts!
